To be appointed as a Parish Advocate, individuals must attend both Introductory and Advanced training. All participants from the Diocese of Sacramento must be approved by their pastor or parochial administrator.

Father Mark Richards, JCL, Judicial Vicar, and Lauralyn F. Solano, Moderator of the Tribunal Chancery, present an overview of the Church's annulment process. Time is allotted for questions and answers, as well as time to speak privately with one of them or an appointed Parish Advocate.
