Pope Francis will remain hospitalized with double pneumonia for at least another week, with doctors closely monitoring his condition. While his life is not in immediate danger, serious risks remain due to his age, chronic lung issues and the severity of the infection.

He has been hospitalized since Feb. 14, and was diagnosed with what is commonly called double pneumonia. His doctors said they have again adjusted the drug regime they are using to treat him.
