Welcome to The Catholic Foundation

The Catholic Foundation practices Christian stewardship by managing individual endowment funds for the benefit of parishes, schools and agencies in the Diocese of Sacramento. Each year, an endowment's earnings are used to help finance the specific purpose for which it was created.  The Catholic Foundation provides an opportunity for individuals to practice their call to Christian stewardship while supporting their local Church.

The Catholic Foundation is a 501(c)(3), Nonprofit Religious Corporation and is organized as a “supporting organization” to the Roman Catholic Bishop of Sacramento, a corporation sole, all 102 local parishes of the Diocese of Sacramento, and various Catholic agencies with the Diocese of Sacramento.
