MUSIC | ART | POETRY Contest
The Black Catholic Ministry Office in partnership with St. Josephine Bakhita Ministry at Good Shepherd Parish in Elk Grove invite all diocesan youth and young adults (ages 13 – 25) to showcase their artistic skills at the 2026 Music, Art, and Poetry Contest (MAP26 Contest). This year’s theme is “Imago Dei, Made in The Image of God”. Participants are invited to express through music, art, or poetry what “made in the image of God” means.
"Speaking the Truth in Love" Series
THIRD SUNDAYS OF THE MONTH
Under the Black Catholic Ministry (BCM) of the Diocese of Sacramento, the Sister Thea Bowman Group at St. Basil the Great Church will be hosting the “Speaking the Truth in Love” series. This series provides an understanding of the contributions, beauty, and richness of influential Black Catholics. All are welcome to join this series.
