With faith in the Risen Lord, we share the sad news of the passing of Reverend Sean R. O’Leary. Fr. O’Leary entered eternal life on Monday, November 3, 2025, at the age of 88.
Ordained to the priesthood on June 18, 1961 Father O’Leary faithfully served the people of our diocese for 64 years. His long and dedicated ministry touched the lives of many throughout Northern California, and his quiet witness of faith remains a blessing to the communities he served.
He is survived by his brother, Desmond O’Leary, and his sisters, Joan Keane and Angela Roseingrave, of Dublin, Ireland.
