Henry Garcia has joined the Catholic Schools Department of the Diocese of Sacramento as Director of Mission Effectiveness.
He is returning to Sacramento after having previously living here with his wife and family for 13 years.
He brings with him more than 30 years of experience in Catholic education and business. His background spans leadership, strategic planning and community relations, complemented by a strong foundation in human resources, data analysis and performance management.
Most recently, he served at Incarnate Word High School in San Antonio, Texas, where he held key positions such as president, director of operations on the executive leadership team, and director of student life and community relations. He holds a master's degree in business administration and a master's degree in social work from Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio.

"His extensive experience and unwavering commitment to Catholic education, centered around the teachings of Jesus and guided by the Holy Spirit, will greatly benefit our schools. We look forward to his contributions as he collaborates with our community to enhance the mission of our schools in the diocese."
