The parishes of the Southern Suburbs Deanery will hold a Eucharistic Revival celebration Oct. 20-21 at Vietnamese Martyrs Parish, located at 8181 Florin Road in Sacramento.
On Friday, Oct. 20, young adults ages 18 to 39 are welcome to attend a program from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Doors will open at 6 p.m. for fellowship, hospitality and food. The keynote speaker at 7 p.m. will be Father Raj Derivera, pastor of Sacred Heart Parish in Anderson. At 7:30 p.m. there will be praise and worship, eucharistic adoration, confession, and guided reflecting and meditation. Benediction will be held at 9:45 p.m. Please RSVP for food count by Oct. 15.
On Saturday, Oct. 21, the event for families will be held from 1:45 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Door will open for fellowship at 1:45 p.m., followed by eucharistic adoration at 2:30 p.m. and a keynote speaker at 3:15 p.m. A eucharistic procession will be held at 4:15 p.m. Bishop Jaime Soto will be the main celebrant for Mass beginning at 5 p.m.
