The message of “We are ONE body of Christ: Together in Mission – Together in Youth Ministry” sets the focus of an August 22 workshop at Bishop Quinn Catholic Center in Palo Cedro, CA.  For youth ministry coordinators, adult team members and high school team members, this workshop invites attendees to examine the diversity of the body, and how that makes us better.  Citing the fact more than 50 percent of Catholics in the Sacramento diocese are Hispanic/Latino, youth and young adult ministry members will learn the effective methods of Hispanic youth ministry and learn how they might be applied with all youth.  Discussion and dialogue also will look at outreach to Hispanic youth, and shaping more inclusive, responsive and effective ministries.  Workshops will be offered in English and Spanish as the Youth Track of Catechist Formation Day – North. The cost is $20 which includes the keynote, two workshops and lunch from 8 a.m. to 3:15 p.m.  Mass will be celebrated.  Contact Kevin Staszkow at (916) 733-0152 or email him at kstaszkow@diocese-sacramento.org
